Hi, my name is Yordanka Mutafova and I'm a qualified Reiki Master.

I was born in Bulgaria and as a child I loved spending time in nature and was fascinated by crystals. For the first part of my life I worked in finance but at the age of 22 I moved to the UK and decided to pursue a totally different path. I had many jobs but on the whole I worked as a nanny and in social care. At the time I moved to London I also began pursuing my interest in alternative healing, and took a number of courses alongside my work.

I discovered reiki seemingly by accident – but I believe everything happens for a reason! One weekend I felt I need some space from my partner so I registered for Reiki Level 1 and 2. I did it to get some time for myself, but found that I absolutely loved the course. From there I did my Reiki Master training and later on I did Karuna Reiki. I am 6th generation down the line from the Master Mikao Usui.

This was my path to reiki, and since then I have never stopped learning. I am always exploring alternative methods, such as sound healing, that I can use to enrich my work. Besides reiki I am also qualified to practise SOMA breathwork, reflexology, aromatherapy, crystal healing, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique,) ICU (Inspiring Children Universally,) Ho’oponopono and Aryuveda yoga massage.

About reiki

Reiki works on different levels the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual enhancing everything in life. Reiki is not only one of the oldest healing systems in use; it is also one of the most versatile. This ancient Japanese method of healing uses energy to balance the body and mind, and its benefits can be felt by both Reiki practitioners and their clients.

In fact, Reiki is believed to improve just about any aspect of life, from physical health to emotional well-being to stress reduction and mental clarity. Reiki techniques are used to heal the body, mind and the spirit. It has been proven that Reiki can help people suffering from various major and minor ailments.

It is often used as a complementary therapy in a number of hospitals today. It enhances the health care the patient receives in both in the hospital and from outpatient health care providers. Reiki has not only helped patients with physical ailments but also helped those with minor psychological problems as well.

How can reiki help you?

Because reiki healing works with universal energy, it is quick, flexible and powerful, as it is not subject to time and space limitations and the energy goes where it needs to go.  You may or may not perceive sensations during a healing, but the energy is received just the same.

 reduction or elimination of physical illness or disease, including long-standing or chronic health issues;

Just for today, I will not be angry

Anger at others or oneself or at the whole world creates serious blockages in one’s energy. It is the most complex inner enemy. Reiki is an excellent tool to remove anger blockages which have accumulated in the body over years, but it cannot remove the residue of current anger which occurs daily.

Letting go of anger brings peace into the mind.
Just for today, I will not worry

Although worry is not always a negative phenomenon, endless worries may fill one’s head, and each one bores a small hole in one’s body and soul. While anger requires a focused Reiki treatment to remove obstacles, worry requires the energy to be spread throughout the entire body.

Letting go of worry brings healing into the body.
